Hope of Pilgrimage

Dear Father Stephen,
I am writing this letter concerning the pilgrimage to Lourdes. There are many reasons I wish to go. I remember you said that this is a pilgrimage all Catholics should at least take once in their life. Also I enjoy helping the people. One of the greatest things that can be done is to do service for another person. I love doing this type of work and also want to find a stronger connection with the Rosary. The Grotto to me is one of the most sacred and adored place and I would like to visit there. I remember you once said “the vale between heaven and earth is thinnest about Lourdes.” I believe those works and wish to make this pilgrimage to be there. I also enjoy serving with you and have always wanted to serve with you again. All of my life I have helped people and this would be one of the greatest offers bestowed to me. I also wish to go because of hearing of the wonderful miracles that transpire there. To go to the Lourdes and serve is something I couldn’t have dreamed about at home.
