Calm in a Crisis

Letter of gratitude from an alumni of the Family Foundation School:

Dawn,

I wanted to write this to say thank you. Despite my 1st 9 months of resentment towards you, I’ve grown to really respect and admire you. You’ve shown me a spiritual trait that I’ve never seen before. It is obvious that you have a very strong connection with your higher power. Just as an example, (in a crisis) you kept the calmest that I would ever expect a staff to keep. That shows true faith.

You’ve been a tremendous support in my academics, not just math. The love, care, & faith you’ve shown me made me not want to give up. I’m still going to go to you on Friday nights (hopefully, if your free).

You are one of my biggest helps. I feel like I can trust you with anything… Thank you. Everyone says they have their family school mother, I definitely consider you mine. Thank you for all the love, care, faith and support you’ve shown me and F2. You are much appreciated. Thank you.
