To Love and Help Others

Dear Mike,

I was cleaning out my locker, and these pictures made me think of you. C. B.’s “pout” in the picture of the family made me laugh. It’s pretty ironic. To me, this picture symbolizes what “family two” is. Fun having, hard working, crazy people. From B.’s “pout” to Tom K.’s large smile, it is perfect in its own way. It’s the true definition of family. Thank you very much for everything that you have done for me. You are an amazing father. I was talking to someone the other day about you and we both agreed that meeting a man like you in life is truly a gift….You have helped me more than you know… You have helped me to love, and though I still often lack compassion, you have taught me how to help others. Thank you. Well, I never really know how to end letters like this, so I will end it by saying good-bye, and good luck, and I love you.

R. W.
