Congratulations on your superior ratings and top placement in the Musical Festival in Washington! We were fortunate to be able to see each performance as we did last spring with the bonus of watching our daughter Katie in Show Chorus this time. The Family School choruses are in a league of their own which owes not only to their abilities but also to your hard work, talent and commitment to excellence. Bravo!
When the judge spoke on the stage following the men’s chorus and suggested that they ‘hold back’ a bit, I couldn’t help but want to say out loud, “Hold back? Family School kids can’t hold back anything! That’s why they are at the Family School!” We were so proud to be a Family School parent in that audience – and happy, too, for all the students and both of you.
As our daughter approaches the finish line at the Family Foundation School, we want to let you know how much your influence has made an impact on her recovery and growth. We always thought Katie was a natural on stage and hoped that someday she would become herself again and rekindle her love of performing the way she did as a child. Your arts program was one of the most compelling reasons we selected FFS over another school, yet we had no idea how excellent it really is.
